Lord Jesus Christ, before his ascension to Heaven so at to “sit down at the right hand of God”, He gave this command to His disciples:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in tha name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”
Gospel of Matthew 28: 19-20

During the era of the First Apostolic Church, God used simple people untrained and uneducated (fishermen) to preach His Gospel.

Centuries passed by, people changed and so did all those who worked for the propagation of the Gospel.

Many teachings appeared, teachings which imposed heavy burdens hard to bear for the people, guiding them away from the truth and making them to depart from God’s love.

But God had left a remnant throughout the centuries. Those were the people who remained honest towards the Word of God, people who truly loved Jesus Christ, who realized the eternal meaning of the “Sacrifice on the Cross” and yet were not deceived by the “philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ”

In our days we notice that many “signs”, concerning the “latter days”, are fulfilled; they still were prophesied thousands of years ago by the word of God.

However, the most important sign is that the Gospel is preached everywhere in the world. “and this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world” Gospel of Matthew 26: 14

The Gospel was originally written in Greek language and Greeks as well as all those who know Greek have the responsibility to proclaim the Word of God, exactly as it is written that is pure and free from any possible mistakes that have arisen as a consequence of the various translations and paraphrases.

Circumstances have become very different. The earth’s population has dramatically increased. The distances are too long. The people set by God to preach the Gospel are few.

On the other hand man has become a servant of technology and information in general. Technology increases day by day, thus enabling people to communicate in a faster and much more efficient way. Communication networks are multiplying every day. Information has become the necessary “tool” for everyone.

So, how is it possible and feasible for the Gospel to be preached?

Isn’t it obvious that there couldn’t be a better way, for the Lord Jesus Christ, other than the technological advances that He Himself revealed to people?

Being a “vehicle” of the information and diffusion of knowledge ………………

In the year 2000, a small team of young Greeks, who became ac………… with the Saviour Jesus Christ, took the decision to inform people about this knowledge, so that other people too might taste the salvation of soul and the freedom in life, that only Jesus Christ and His Gospel can provide.

So, they constructed a website, whose aim was to propagate the Word of God , as it is written in the divine archetypal Greek texts, and exclusively preaches the decrees determined by the Apostles of the first Apostolic church, using sermon files in .mp3 format. These sermons could be downloaded freely by the web site’s visitors. This multimedia addition was a basic improvement that increased the website’s visitors.

Little by little, God put into the heart of everyone who worked for this cause, to vision the messages from the Word of God.

Thus, it began the planning and the implementation.

Today this web site, has advanced into being a website which using all the latest technologies of multimedia streaming. The “WordofGod.gr” offer its visitors the benefit of a 24hour T.V. program, as well as live broadcasts. Moreover any visitor can easily find all the past live broadcasts, being stored in video and audio format.

All those who work for the Word of God established, at 2006, a non-profitable association, so as this broadcast channel should be increased more and produce a lot of broadcasts, aims at propagating the Word of God.
The Word of God, this time is translated worldwide in 8 different languages (Greek, English, Italian, Romanian, Russian, Polish, French, and Albanian).
